Miconia albicans and Curcuma longa herbal medicines positively modulate joint pain, function and inflammation in patients with osteoarthritis: a clinical study.

이 연구는 무릎 골관절염 환자 24명을 대상으로 Curcuma longa와 Miconia albicans의 진통 및 조절 효과를 평가했다. 두 한약 그룹은 이부프로펜과 비교했을 때 유사한 결과를 보였으며, Miconia albicans의 경우 치료 전후 WOMAC 점수에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 이 연구는 두 한약이 골관절염 환자의 통증과 기능 개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 처음으로 입증했다.
