두경부 암 환자의 구강 건조증에 대한 한약의 효과: 3차 암 병원에서의 관찰 연구

Effects of herbal medicine for xerostomia in head and neck cancer patients: an observational study in a tertiary cancer hospital.

이 연구는 두경부 암 환자 42명을 대상으로 구강 건조증과 삶의 질(QoL)에 대한 한약 치료의 효과를 평가했다. 치료군은 자극된 침 분비량이 3개월 후 0.15 ml/min에서 0.32 ml/min로, 6개월 후 0.46 ml/min로 유의하게 개선되었고, QoL 또한 향상되었다. 그러나 대조군과의 비교에서 자극되지 않은 침 분비량은 유사한 결과를 보였다.
