70명의 아급성 불면증 환자를 대상으로 He's 삼중 촉진 침법과 에스타졸람의 효과를 비교하였다. 치료 후, 삼중 촉진 침법 그룹의 수면 질과 불면증 심각도가 유의미하게 개선되었고, 총 유효율도 높았다. 삼중 촉진 침법이 아급성 불면증 환자에게 더 효과적이었다.
