간이식과 카바(kava) 사용: 증례 보고

Liver transplantation and the use of KAVA: Case report.

브라질에서 불안 완화 약초 카바(Piper methysticum)를 52일간 복용한 환자가 급성 간부전으로 간이식을 받았다. 과량 복용 증거가 없었고 RUCAM으로 인과가 추정되었으며 제품에서 오염물질이나 성분 변화는 발견되지 않아 표준 용량에서의 카바 간독성으로 판단되었다.
