자살 목적으로 서양주목 잎을 먹은 환자가 집중 심장 치료로 목숨을 건지고 완전히 회복해 직장에 복귀했다. 저자들은 혈장의 주요 탁산 대사물과 식물 속 탁신 성분을 빠르게 확인하는 초고속 LC-MS/MS 분석법을 개발했다.
