전침 진통이 만성 긴장형 두통 환자에서 혈청 뇌유래 신경영양인자 증가와 관련이 있다

Electroacupuncture analgesia is associated with increased serum brain-derived neurotrophic factor in chronic tension-type headache: a randomized, sham controlled, crossover trial.

만성 긴장형 두통 환자 34명을 대상으로 전침과 위약 치료의 효과를 비교하였다. 전침 치료가 통증 완화에 효과적이며, 혈청 BDNF 수치가 증가함을 확인하였다. 연구의 한계로는 샘플 크기가 작고, 치료 순서에 따른 효과가 관찰되었다는 점이 있다.
