Dose-dependent efficacy of the Vitex agnus castus extract Ze 440 in patients suffering from premenstrual syndrome.

162명의 전립선 증후군 환자를 대상으로 한 연구로, 20mg 용량의 Vitex agnus castus 추출물이 위약 및 8mg 용량에 비해 증상 개선에서 유의미한 효과를 보였다. 30mg 용량은 20mg에 비해 증상 감소에서 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이 연구는 20mg 용량이 전립선 증후군 환자에게 선호되는 일일 용량임을 제시하였다.
